"Steve Ireland, bassist extraordinaire,

completely electrifies on this single called

‘Transpire’ fromhis latest album

‘Crazybassman’, on Steve Ireland Music and is distributed via Zimbalam.

I experienced so many inner music emotions throughout this absolutely rocking piece ofmusic. It was masterfully layered with backing beats and grooves with tones of tribal and orient sensations. It also took me through journeys of jungle movements and sounds to crashing waves on airy clear-skied beaches. On his Sei Flamboyant 6 string fretless bass, Steve plays throughout ‘Transpire’ with passion, style and such ease.

He phenomenally displays his mastery of his craft with a slow tempo solo midway through, that took this music listener to peaks of mountain tops with echoes and reverb sounds from a massive bass music element. This was a “fantastic listen”~A Musicians Friend~ gives this “7 out of 7” on it’s ‘thumbs up’ single review chart."

I am totally amazed and utterly flabbergasted by the flying fingers of Mr. Steve Ireland on the bass guitar. His skill can be summed up with one word: MASTERFUL.

I am listening to Gordon Bennett, and I am totally blown away at how the song opens up with an electronic drumbeat and keyboards, then the bass totally takes over the show. Usually, one hears of guitar players making their guitars talk, but Mr. Ireland plays so fiercely on his bass that it's like someone saying "There's a new sheriff in town."

Never in my life have I heard one bass player so expressive as Mr. Ireland. I wish him continued success.

Steve Ireland is sensational bassist professional talent that hails from out of Northeast England, UK. This extrordinaire bassist talent with years of experience just lit up my rocking ear modules with his 'today' self-released album entitled 'The Way Back home',. It is a thrilling Celtic concept album exploring into his heritage and upbringing. Steve incorporates bass and overall musicianship excellence with gorgeous instrumental skies glowing with radiant jazz/jazz fusion vibes, rock charm, 'bring the funk' splendour and of course a stunning backbone throughout of his Celtic music roots. This was an outstanding listen and so far for 2015 it certainly ranks no1 for my jazz and instrumental rock artists of the year. This cat is an absolute rocking juggernaut and the world 'needs' to take him into their ear catalogs, for sure!

Bassist extraordinaire was the quote

used in one recent review and although

Steve himself considers this very flattering in many ways it is a truthful statement to

make. His fretless bass style is indeed  a

virtuosic  soaring delight of expression and emotion drawing from his Scottish roots  with the wisdom and experience that over 35 years performing has given him,  also the way that he can lay down the funkiest groove with deep organic feeling is why this reviewer and many others have  felt driven to write so enthusiastically about Steve Irelands' bass playing skills.
